Today I’m doing the Anything But Books Tag because why would I wanna participate in a tag that I was actually tagged in?? Crazy!! I saw this tag on Dana @ TheBookHoarder’s channel and thought it was really interesting! The tag was originally created by Katie @ ReaderRot and you can see her original video here.

Name a cartoon(s) that you love.

Okay, I’m an ACTUAL CHILD when it comes to this. I could write an entire post on my favourite cartoons. I’m actually struggling to narrow it down to a reasonable amount.

Yeah, this is a reasonable amount okay. There’s so many other ones I didn’t include like Invader Zim, Gravity Falls, Hey Arnold ect. basically if it was on Nickelodeon or Disney in the 90-00s then I loved it. I think it says a lot about me as a person that Angelica was my favourite on the Rugrats. Even when I was a kid I was a fan of the female character that we’re supposed to hate 😂 SpongeBob gets my immaturity. When I have trouble sleeping or I come back from a really stressful investigation, I binge Magic School Bus on Netflix, haha. That show taught me so much. Then of course Athur. HAVING FUN ISN’T HARD WHEN YOU’VE GOT A LIBRARY CARD. Pretty sure I learnt how to spell Aardvark because of this show.

What is your favourite song right now?

This changes daily, obviously. Right now however it’s Taxi and How Do You Feel? by The Maine. The Maine released their new album last week and it’s perfect.

When you asked me “Is the sadness everlasting?” I pulled you closer, looked at you and said “Love, I think it is.”

What could you do for hours (that isn’t reading)?

I think this comes as a surprise to no one, but listening to music. I listen to music all day long, it’s always on in the background. It’s something that I will never, ever get sick of. I can also rewatch old football games for hours.

What is something you love to do that your followers would be surprised by?

See, this is when I wish I hadn’t bored you all with my obsession with the footy because I feel like that could have surprised a lot of you 😂 I think I’m pretty open about the things I like so they wouldn’t really be a surprise? I love doing paranormal investigating which might be a bit of surprise to new followers? I listen to pop punk and post-hardcore music and when I go to shows I love being up in the mosh pit area. I’ve never had any crazy injuries, but when I saw Bring Me The Horizon I left bleeding and that’s how you know it was a good show.

What is your favorite unnecessarily specific thing to learn about (this can do with books, I guess)?

I love learning about anything and everything. I’m not an academically minded person, but I LOVE learning. I really love learning about odd things, like weird history, unexplained mysteries, paranormal things and strange unsolved crimes and true crime in general ect. I love watching all those Top 10 List type videos on YouTube. The stranger and more macabre the better. I probably know more than you should about torture devices ect. Normally when I find something that really interests me I’ll go down a Google-hole of web searches and Wikipedia articles.

What is something unusual you know how to do?

Um….?? I don’t really have any talents?? I suppose maybe one thing would be using all the equipment in Paranormal Investigating?

Getting my hands on all these pieces of equipment is SO much fun.

This isn’t really unusual, but I know HTML? I taught myself when I was 13 with this random book and this website called Lissa Explains it All. I don’t know any of the advanced programming languages, but I’m pretty fluent with HTML/CSS. I used to always make my own themes on Tumblr, Livejournal and MySpace and I used to run an Agents of Shield fansite before the show was ruined for me, haha.

Name something you’ve made in the last year (and show us, if you can).

I haven’t physically made things, but I’ve made designs for my Society6 and RedBubble! Does that count?

What is your most recent personal project?

Um, I suppose this blog? And my S6/RB stores? I don’t know. One a more personal note I guess continuing to work through my mental illness and being kinder to myself.

Tell us something you think about often (maybe while staring out of windows).

Music, the football, the world in general, the football, ghosts, SPACE!!!!!, My Ideal Life, my favourite people, my dog, the football. I day dream constantly. I’m a realist, but I also love creating scenarios and stories in my head that will never happen. When I travel to Perth I constantly look out the window whilst listening to music and pretend I’m in a music video.

Give us something thats your favorite, but make it something oddly specific, not like your favorite food, but like your favorite food when you’ve been studying for hours and forgot to eat. Or, you know, something like that.

I don’t know if this will even make sense, but alright here we go. I have snakebite piercings (2 lip piercings that are bars). They kinda look like this – mine are stainless steel. On cold days I love pushing them forward and then pulling them back because the bar gets really cold and it just feels really cool?? This probably sounds so fucking weird, but I love it.  I know it’s probably not ideal to play with them as much as I do, but ehhh. I’ve had no trouble so 💁🏻
