Celebrating The Little Things Tag šŸ’—šŸ’—

Celebrating the Little Things.png

So, I’m sure we all know the world is in a bit of chaos right now. I think we’re all still trying to process how certain things have happened and are all feeling sad, scared and angry ect. Self-care is needed now more than ever. When I read this post on Fadwa’s blog it was just like the perfect timing and helped distract me and made me smile. Even though I wasn’t tagged and I have a backlist of tags I need to do I really wanted to post this one because I feel like answering the questions is going to be therapeutic almost.

Who was your very first follower (if you can find out) tag them and give them a shout out!

My first follower was Vivian @ Inked in Pages which is all kinds of appropriate because Vivian is one of the reasons why I got back into reading. We followed each other on Tumblr for ages before hand and she had made a Booklr/Bookstagram and every time she posted it made me realise just how much I missed reading. She’s all kinds of amazing so definitely give her a follow if you’re not already!

What was the last milestone you reached?

I reached 500 followers a while back here on the blog. Just the other day I somehow reached 1000 followers on Twitter which blows my mind because all I do on there is complain šŸ˜‚

What was the very first post you posted on your blog? Share it with us! If you can find out.

It was a review for Return to the Dark House by Laurie Faria Stolarz and honestly my review style hasn’t changed at all šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ I’m not sure whether that’s a good or bad thing, but hey – at least I’m consistent šŸ˜Ž.

Who was your most recent follower, tag them and give them a shout out!

There are a few and I’m not sure of the order so they all get a shout out. Rebekah @ Bookish Tea Dribbles (your blog looks lovely!), Lauren @ Partner In Reading (hi you have the best name and your blog header is stunning!) and Sarah @ Paper, Words and Coffee (coffee!! and the first post I saw is a Graphic Novel haul which YES). Thanks so much for your support ā™„ā™„ā™„

How many months have you been blogging for?

This is my 9th month! I can’t believe I’m only a few months away from 1 year!!!

Do you have any bloggers youā€™re friends with? Give them a shout out.

Oh man. There’s SO many. The last time I felt so part of something was back in the Livejournal days. Okay so: Sheridan (ā™„), VivianFadwa, Esther, Beth, Sara, Beth, Naz, Sammie, Reg, Marie, Kourtni, Casey and like I know I’ve forgotten people. I’m sorry ā™„

Who originally created the last meme or tag you participated in? Give them a shout out!

That would have been my most recent post which was The Diverse Books Tag and it was created by the absolutely wonderful Naz @ Read Diverse Books who should be someone you’re required to follow tbh.

Have you any social media related to your blog?

Feel free to follow me on all of them! I’m TERRIBLE at Instagram though.

Last but not least ā€¦. Just give thanks to all your followers.

I feel like people are probably sick of me saying this, BUT THANK YOU. Honestly starting this blog has been one of the best things I’ve done this year. I forgot how wonderful it feels being a part of something. I appreciate every single one of you. Everyone who follows me, comments, likes my posts ect. I can’t even express how much it means to me. I’m eternally grateful.

Thanks again for all being so wonderful. I know the bookish community can have it’s problems, but I’m so glad I found such a wonderful corner of it.

I hope you’re all having a fantastic day xx
