Make sure to check out their posts and blogs. Give them a follow if you’re not already because they’re all fantastic ♥ To find out more about the award you can visit its official page here.

  • Link your nominees and let them know of your nomination.

The Facts:

I’m running out things to list, guys 😅 I’m really not that interesting.

  1. I am obsessed with an Australian sport called AFL. Maybe too invested. If you’re unfamiliar with the sport it’s like a weird and confusing hybrid of soccer and rugby. I am the least sporty person on the planet, but this game is my entire life. The team I support is called the West Coast Eagles and I love them with all my heart and soul. I actually want to get a version of their logo tattooed on me. Every weekend I can be found in my lounge room screaming at my TV. I’ve rewatched a bunch of games three or four times. Honestly, this game has made me cry on several occasions. You’ve probably seen my Tweets if you follow me on Twitter and I apologise.
  2.  I’m trying to become vegan. At the moment the only meat I eat is chicken which I’m trying to cut out. The next step is to become vegetarian and then slowly try to wean myself off dairy/eggs ect. It’s going to be a slow process, but I’m hoping to get there eventually.
  3. I can easily read 5 graphic novels or trade paperbacks in a day, maybe more, but it usually takes me a week or longer to read an actual novel.
  4. I have a pet python named Winston (after the vocalist from Parkway Drive 😅).
  5. I’m the kind of person that can listen to the same song or album repeatedly for a month and never get sick of it. In the past 2 days I’ve listened to Against The Current’s new album 10 times on repeat and this month I’ve listened to Circles by Pierce The Veil 113 times on repeat.
  6. I saw All Time Low in 2013, managed to get barrier and when Jack came into the crowd he was right in front of me and I got to play his guitar.
  7.  I’m aromantic which basically means I don’t experience romantic attraction or have any desire to be in a romantic relationship.

I Nominate:

I think EVERYONE has done this already, but I’m going to chose some new-ish followers. If you’ve already done this or don’t want to do this then it’s all chill. Please don’t feel like you have to!

Leslie @ Leslie’s Library • Kirsty @ Kirsty’s Book Reviews • Hannah @ Mortal Reader • Amy @ inkyspells • I also tag everyone who hasn’t done this and wants to!

Also, just wanted to quickly thank everyone for being so lovely about my ACOTAR review. I know I shouldn’t be nervous, but I can’t help it and you all were so kind! It’s definitely helped ease my worries about posting reviews like that in the future.

Hope you’re all having a fantastic day xx

  1. You are not the only one whose tags have gone out of control! 😀 Mine’s are pending since a year! Nonetheless loved reading this post!

  2. That’s so cool that you’re trying to become vegan! I tried to become vegetarian years ago and really struggled, it’s something I’ve always meant to try again some day 🙂

    Thank you for the nomination!

    1. They’re soooo cute, right?? We got him when he was a baby and he could git in your palm, but now he’s like longer than the huge tank we keep him in. It’s been awesome watching him grow. You’re also one of the few people who has had that reaction, haha. Most people say I’m crazy 😂

  3. You’re not the only one who’s let their tags get out of control. I need to start posting more each week on my blog if I ever hope to get through them!
I’m the same with music. I’ve been listening to one album over and over for the past four days, and when you consider it takes me an hour and a half to get to work and another hour and a half to get home that’s a lot of listens to each track!
But great facts! You haven’t run out yet (but I know the feeling because I always feel like I have nothing I can post for these either!)

    1. Haha, it’s so good to know I’m not alone. I tried to keep on top of them, but I’ve just accepted that it’s never going to happen 😂

Yes! Once I was on a six hour trip and I think I listened to the same 20-ish songs the whole way haha.

      Aw, thank you Beth!

      1. The most on top of my tags I am is keeping a list of them in order of when I was tagged, so I know what order to post them in. I write them as I post them and I’m two months behind at the moment, possibly more as we speak!
If it’s an album/song I like I just can’t wait to hear it again so I have to go back to it, if not I skip through all the songs on my iPod until I get back to it!
        That’s all right ❤️

                    1. Oh yes Paperchase is a stationary store (I tend to forget shops aren’t the same everywhere in the world) from the sounds of it I’m gonna say the English version of Typo :D. It has the most gorgeous stationary ever, I could honestly spend all my money in there every month, as it is I already spend way too much!

  4. I so love learning about Australia from you, and about you of course 🙂 I had no idea what AFL is!!! So cool. Also, kudos for your dedication to your diet…. I cannot imagine having the discipline to cut out pork (I feel like as a Romanian, pork, cabbage and potatoes are the three required food groups), lest of all ALL meat/cheese. Very inspiring!

    1. Aw, yay! AFL is quite confusing, but it’s HUGE in Australia. We probably care more about AFL players than we do celebrities ect. Haha, thanks! I’ve been trying for a while now and it is quite difficult. I love chicken and dairy products so much, but I’m gonna keep trying and see what happens.

  5. All of your facts are so so interesting 🙂 A friend of mine has been a vegan for years, but once in a while it gets really hard for her. Her discipline and self-control is admirable, honestly, so I really respect you for committing to it.

  6. I only eat chicken, too! I hate it b/c people kept asking me if I were vegetarian, since sometimes I don’t want to eat it, and I’m just like, ”Why do you have to put a label on everything?” lol. Interesting facts!

    1. Right!!! I get hassled so much because I don’t eat read meat, especially since in Australia it’s like a really common thing. I also love salads and green juices and I’m forever hearing things like, “why don’t you just go outside and eat grass” haha.

      Thanks so much ♥

  7. Thank you so much for the nomination! Loved your facts and learning more about you, good luck in becoming Vegan. I understand it must be a hard process to cut out food you have eaten before, I have every faith that you can do it! 😀

  8. Ah, footy, I’m the LEAST sports-interested person you can possibly find but my bf is so, so into footy and like you, he’s also very involved in it – it’s kind of a REALLY INTENSE hobby, in a way. I’ll be curious to see what version of the Eagles’ logo you’ll get tattooed. 🙂

  9. Omg you have a pet python… Snakes scare me 😦 but that’s cool! And I think it’s nice to learn about you being aromantic! Romantic attractions are so often shoved down our throats in today’s generation and society that people forget such a thing as being aromantic exists! Thank you for sharing that! and thank you for nominating me ❤️

    1. Haha, a lot of people have that reaction when they find out. He really is so cute though. We got him when he was a baby and he used to be able to fit in the palm of your hand. He’s grown soooo much now though.

And thank you! I totally agree. It sucks how society puts so much pressure on people being in relationships and try to say that we’re not “complete” until we’re married or settled down with The One. It’s totally okay if that’s what you want, but it’s definitely not what I want and that’s okay too 😀

No worries ♥ I look forward to your post.

  10. Hahaha, I totally agree that it’s strange how these nominations always involve so many facts, specifically seven for some reason. You do a really great job of coming up with facts! I love learning more about you. Good luck with your vegan journey! 🙂 ❤

      1. Haha, I know, right?! That’s actually a large reason why I haven’t gotten around to a lot of nominations yet… I just can’t think of that many facts about myself.

Please update us on your process to becoming vegan! Although I’m not vegan myself, I’d love to encourage you and to hear about the steps you’re taking to get to there! 🙂

  12. I hope you get around to being vegan or at least vegetarian. I’ve been a vegetarian for a few years now and I like it. 😊

  13. The 1975’s first album has been on my playlist for almost 2 years and I am still not sick of it. Everyone always finds it odd but for some reason I am immune to being sick of that album hahaha. I also find it incredibly awesome that you have a pet python!! 🙂

  14. I once tried going vegetarian, let’s just say that didn’t work out at all for me. That’s probably just because I’ve been curious about it and didn’t really want it. I’m not too sure. Anyway cutting animal products out gradually seems to be the best way on getting there! And it’s so cool that you got the play Jack’s guitar! And don’t worry my tags and awards are out of control, too! I’m wondering if I’ll ever be able to finish the list that has piled up already 😅 😂

    1. I ate chicken tonight for dinner so it’s definitely going to be a slow progress 😅 It was such a rad experience!! Still can’t believe it happened. And haha, so glad I’m not alone!! I tried to stay up to date but now I have accepted my fate.

  15. Trying to get a handle on all the tags and awards is definitely a challenge. I have so many to catch up on haha.
How cool is it that you have a pet python and the fact that it’s called Winston make it all more EPIC.

  16. I support you on turning Vegan! It may be hard but you can slowly adopt to it. YOU HAVE A PET PYTHON? Wow, you’re a brave soul because I am terrified of snakes.

Anyways, I was randomly lurking around wordpress and then I decided to visit your blog and then I was shocked because you had so many recent posts that I haven’t read yet! And all this time I thought you weren’t posting anything, I clearly somehow didn’t saw your posts in my feed but I swear, I always make sure to scroll through every post that I’ve missed. It’s so weird! So sorry for flooding you notifications, I had to catch up with your posts haha. I’ll unfollow then follow you again, to maybe fix this dilema. 😅😅😅

Haha, that’s okay!!! All the likes made me feel popular so it’s all good 😎

  17. I became a vegetarian when I was 16, from one day to the other, which I do not recommend doing! It was such a struggle at first to find what to eat and my mom was upset when I wouldn’t eat something she had made. But I’m stubborn and this year is my seventh year! I always thought I’d be vegan at one point, but so far I’ve not been able to do it because it would be too expensive and I don’t have any vegan options where I live.
Also, a pet snake, wow, he must be beautiful!

  18. Good luck going vegan! I don’t even think I could be a vegetarian. I love meat too much. 😡 That’s really interesting that you are an aromantic (I hope I spelled that right) and I’ve never heard of that before. I’m super curious for more details about that.

    1. Hahahah, that’s okay about the accidental emoticon usage 😅 It’ll be hard because I really love chicken (giving up bacon was sooo hard haha). I’m going to slowly try and cut it out though!

Haha, yes, don’t worry 😊 Yeah, I think it’s definitely lesser known than other orientations. It’s just kind of where you don’t experience the romantic side of love. You can still have platonic love for people. There’s just no desire for any of the stereotypical Valentine’s Day sort of things and most (but not all) aromantics don’t want to be in a relationship. So basically, I’m single but not wanting to mingle 😂
