Okay, so I seriously struggled with this topic and it’s like 10pm and I’ve only just got on my laptop because I babysit my younger siblings full time whilst my parents work and they were extra demanding today. I also have a doctor’s appointment tomorrow at 9am (ew!!!) so I’m like super rushing to try and get SOME sleep, haha.

I honestly mean everyone. I don’t even know what to say. I would LOVE to see everyone as adults. PERCABETH WEDDING? UM YES PLEASE. Hell, I’d be happy with seeing Annabeth and Percy doing the dishes and then watching some TV. Is my babe Thalia still kicking ass with Artemis? What is my sweet prince Nico up to? Is he happy? Did he and a certain son of Apollo live happily ever after? What about Jason and Piper? Hazel & Frank? LEO? ALL THE GODS AND GODDESSES AND CHIRON AND RACHEL AND EVERYONE WHO EVER MADE AN APPEARANCE.

Yeah, I know everyone in the entire blogosphere included this but I DON’T CARE. Of course my main interest is with the trio. I would love to see Life After Hogwarts. I wanna see them going to work and looking after their kids and having to deal with them getting into all kinds of mishaps. IS THERE A NEW EVIL WIZARD? Did the kids adjust to their weird names? What’s the rest of Dumbeldore’s Army up to? Especially Luna. I hope Luna’s happy. I HOPE ALL OF TEDDY LUPIN’S DREAMS CAME TRUE. What about the Hogwart’s professors? Do you think they all started to relax once Harry left and then they see his kids and more Weasley’s on the list and they’re like, ‘…..not again.’.
The girls & Jen from Lumberjanes by Noelle Stevenson
It would be so cool seeing a Ten Year Reunion of all the Lumberjanes girls and Jen! It’s not even a doubt in my mind that they are all still 500% friends. I’m getting emotional thinking about it. Ahh. A ten year reunion back at camp aND OF COURSE THEY GO ON A CRAZY MYSTICAL ADVENTURE. Maybe one of the girls is even a camp counsellor now and Jen is in charge of the place :’).
Nimona, Ballister & Ambrosious from Nimona by Noelle Stevenson
Honestly Noelle could give me 200 pages of Ballister doing his taxes whilst Nimona shapeshifts into a shark and I’d be happy. Did a certain two characters get married and live happily ever after? Obviously. I hope the Kingdom is all chill and that Nimona’s happy and still being her badass self. I want to see everyone living together in the castle being a cute family. I hope Ballister & Ambrosious started their own institute to train young heroes. You don’t even understand how badly I need more of this graphic novel. A sequel. A prequel. Noelle writing some notes on a napkin. GIMME.
Certain Characters that I Can’t Mention because I Don’t Want to Spoil People from The Raven Cycle series by Maggie Stiefvater
I just hope certain people and certain couples are happy. I hope everyone in Fox Way is happy. I love these characters so much. I just want them to be happy. I’ve said happy too many times, but I don’t care. I’m so emotional. This series is my entire world right now. I am so sorry at how vague this is, but it’s so hard to say anything because I don’t want to spoil anyone. I want to know what’s going on in Henrietta itself in ten years. What are the new Aglionby kids like? Any new Kings need awakening?
Kamala from Ms. Marvel by G. Willow Wilson
I like to think that Kamala has taken on a mentor like role and is helping other inhuman kids learn to control their powers and balance their lives. I can definitely see her taking these kids under her wing because she sees herself in them. She’s totally still kicking ass with the Avengers. I hope she’s managed to catch a break. I hope I get to hug her and tell her how wonderful she is.
Yeah okay so that’s only 8, but……….. This post is a big enough mess be thankful I stopped here.

This post had me laughing so much! 90% of the frustration I have with finishing books is not knowing what happens after. I literally want to live their lives with them. WHAT HAPPENS NEXT! 🙂

Kids adjusting to their new names =D. I can imagine Albus Severus Potter resenting his dad and becoming a rebellious teenager. But among the Harry Potter characters, I most interested in what happens to Draco. I wonder how he deals with the aftermath of the Battle of Hogwarts and if he feels guilty about some of the deaths.

Haha, right! I can’t believe I forget to mention Draco by name. I definitely want to know how he’s doing. I can imagine he’d be feeling quite conflicted and guilty! There’d probably be lots of angst going on there which makes me sad. I like to think he’d have a good group of people around him though!

I want to know what happened to all the HP characters too! I swear I would read a book about what they all do on a lazy day and still be jumping for joy, haha. My dream is that she starts a new series with Teddy!! My hopes are definitely not high though. Also, I just wanted to say that I’ve never read The Darkest Minds series, but your enthusiasm makes me want to pick them up like now! Great list! 🙂

RIGHT! And oh MAN a series about Teddy would be my dream come true. I’ve actually always hoped that too! I know we’re getting The Cursed Child, but that is totally not the same haha.
Haha, yay! It’s one of my favourite series. Despite being a sci-fi dystopian it feels so real and it has such a strong friendship group as a focus point. I hope you enjoy it when you decide to pick them up 🙂

Great list! Especially the characters from the Darkest Minds! And of course Harry Potter. I would really just take any book revisiting any character again. Though I would be happiest with a George Weasley or Draco Malfoy book or just a new series with all the kids. I have still not read the Heroes of Olympus or The Raven Boys, but I will get to them soon, I’m sure 🙂

I loved how In The Afterlight ended, but I totally want to see how it all played out afterwards. There’s so many questions I need answered. Especially about the camps and the cure and future kids. And I just need more of the Black Betty crew in my life because I loved them and their friendship all so much.
And yes!! I’d love to know how Draco and George are doing.

Omg yes this list is fantastic! I totally agree with Harry Potter, Heroes of Olympus, Lumberjanes, and The Raven Cycle.
I was really close to including TRC on my list, but like you I was also afraid of it being kind of spoilery so I decided to leave it out, haha. But you took the words right out of my mouth: like literally that series is my whole world right now, and I love the characters with all my heart. I would love to see them again!! 😀

I was so paranoid when I wrote it. I tried so hard to be as vague as possible, haha. But oh my god right. I finished The Raven King a few days ago and I still can’t stop thinking about it. I need more.

Soooo I haven’t read any of these series. (I can’t count HP because I only made it through three books.) BUT the Raven Cycle series and Darkest Minds Trilogy are definitely on my radar (I even own The Darkest Minds and haven’t gotten around to reading it. Story of my life.). Great list (I just live on under a rock)!

Haha, no that’s okay! That’s normally how I am when I’m looking at other people’s lists! The Darkest Minds is one of my favourites 😀 It has a bit of a slower pacing, but despite being a sci-fi dystopian it feels so real and it has an amazing friendship that’s a huge focus point!

I liked seeing some graphic novels on the list, I’ve heard Lumberjanes is really fun. And Nimonas. And yeah the Percy Jackson would be fun to check in on, even though I have’t um read those. But I still feel like I kinda know the story… and mythology right? 🙂

Thanks! I’m all about spreading the graphic novel love, haha. Lumberjanes and Nimona have become two of my all time favourites. They feel like such a refreshing change. Haha, yes at Percy Jackson! That’s one of the many reasons why I love it because you can still get an understanding of it even if you haven’t read it. The mythology featured is basically just a slightly tamer/humourous version of the actual myths.

I will admit to skipping past The Raven Cycle series when I saw those covers because I’m still reading the book and I’m avoiding anything which even mentions the series!
But other than that I loved your picks for this week! I would love a sequel to The Darkest Minds, and Harry Potter (though we’re kind of getting one with The Cursed Child aren’t we!) Also I really need to pick up the Lumberjanes books, I loved Nimona so I kinda wanna pick up everyting Noelle Stevenson as released so far!

Lumberjanes is so great! It definitely has a lot of the same vibe as Nimona, but it’s definitely more lighthearted. My favourite thing is how it includes such a positive female friendship. I feel like that’s so rare these days – especially in comics and graphic novels.

I definitely think there could be a sort of sequel to the series, maybe even focusing on one of the secondary characters rather than Liam and Ruby. Don’t get me wrong I liked the way In the Afterlight ended but I just wanted more!
Same here! It’s not long till it’s released and I am so excited for anything even remotely HP related, I can’t wait for the Fantastical Beasts movie either!

hahaha I had to restrict myself with my TTT to not just spam Harry Potter, but I really could of. There’s just such a vast space from after the Battle of Hogwarts and the epilogue! I mean JKR could write a book for each of those 19 years and I would buy each and every one of them! MORE HARRY POTTER IS ALWAYS GOOD!

Although I occasionally felt the formula was getting tired while reading Sword of Summer, it was great to see Annabeth. I still hope that someday she and Percy can settle down and have some of the peace Percy envisioned in Son of Neptune.

Ooh yay! Yeah, I’ve heard a lot of mixed things about Shiver. The Raven Cycle is amazing though imo. It’s really unlike everything I’ve read before!
