So like always my week was pretty uneventful. I had a paranormal investigation last night and it was a really intersting night so that was cool! Then this morning I went to a platform markets with the family and had the most amazing iced chai latte and waffles with strawberries and Nutella and I almost cried when I finished them. Then I came home and had a nap because I’m old and had about three hours sleep last night. I then depressingly watched my football team lose their game. So that wasn’t fun.
Today I also did some impromptu reading and read two classic short stories: A Haunted House by Virgina Woolf and The Story of an Hour by Kate Chopin. I also read Amulet, Vol 2 and cried. I’ll have some reviews up soon!
I’m a bit behind on my feed/followed blogs too because my medication was upped and it’s made me super sleepy. I’m trying to catch up though!
APRIL TBR
I completely understand that this is extremely overly ambitious especially considering I NEVER stick to a plan, but this is a sort of rough idea of what I would like to try and read this month. I definitely won’t be reading all of them, but I’m hoping to get through some of them at least!
The Winner’s Curse got bumped up on my list because I’ve been seeing it everywhere and because it’s been sitting on my bookshelf for well over a year. The Labyrinthians, Death House and Asleep are review books that I need to have read by the end of the month. The Labyrinthians archive date is the 19th, so I don’t actually know if I’ll be able to get to that one. Oops. I am currently reading The Dream Thieves (35%), A Court of Thorns and Roses (50%) and Death House (49%) so hopefully I’ll have those finished soon. This doesn’t include any classics or graphic novels because I always wing those.

I never have any kind of posting schedule so I’m not sure what’ll be coming up next week. It’ll be a surprise … for both of us 😉 Hopefully I can get some more reviews up since I’m seriously bad at those. I was thinking about talking about my true crime collection maybe? It’s not like massive or anything. I think I only have about 14 books, but still it’s something I’m really interested in so we’ll see!
Awesome TBR list! A few of those defo crop up on mine too. I’m really bad at having a schedule for posting too – it’s something I’m trying to get better at haha! X

Thank you! Yeah, I’m trying to get better at it too or at least start scheduling posts of the regular lists/tags I participate in so I have more time, but it just never seems to happen haha

I’ve heard some fantastic things about Passenger, and I’m curious to see what you think about Rebel of the Sands and My Sister Rosa!
Have fun reading. x

Oh your April TBR has several books I have been meaning to read! The Winner’s circle books have been on my kindle just waiting! So has book one of the Raven Cycle, but I just can’t seem to get into it! Court of Thorns and Roses and Red Queen? Yep, sitting on my kindle. Perhaps I need more hours in the day…

Haha, yes! I think that’s the reason why I always read so many books at once too. It definitely helps my short attention span. Thank you!

It is so cool that you do paranormal investigations. I love the idea, but I’m too much of a baby, no matter how much I love spoopy things. I like visiting creepy haunted places, but I wouldn’t do well overnight. ♡♡

I love it so much! I wasn’t sure how I’d go because even though I love all things scary I get scared extremely easily and the first time I went out I was pretty jumpy, but I’m actually a lot better now than I thought I would be, haha.

Wow you have such an amazing TBR list for April. I really loved Passenger, Rebel of the Sands, Cinder, ACoTaR, Throne of Glass and The Winner’s Curse so I really hope you love them as well! Cinder is part of my all-time favourite series, and Passenger is in the running for my favourite read of 2016. I can’t wait to see your reviews for all of these books 😀

I love that you do paranormal investigations! I did one a couple years ago in an old cemetery (professionally guided and legal and all that jazz). It was the coolest experience ever! I find that stuff incredibly fascinating. Those waffles also sound amazing. Nutella is my jam.
Your TBR has so many great choices! The books that you have to review sound so cool just based on their titles. (Not only do I sometimes judge books based on their covers, but also their titles. lol)

Thank you! I love it so much, like even if we don’t get anything just learning the history and being in these places that have been around for so long is incredible. I’ve yet to do an actual investigation in a cemetery, but it sounds like it’d be so good. Haha, yes!!
Thank you! Haha, I totally do that too.

The cemetery we were in was where the filmed the newest Nightmare on Elm Street movie, so that was pretty cool. It’s also super old and I think dates back to the Civil War?
By yeah, I’m totally the same way! I love learning the history. I want to go on all these tours that take you to obscure places in. Being from Chicago, basic history is drilled into us.
