Stacking the Shelves #1

Stacking the Shelves
Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!
Stacking The Shelves is hosted by Tyngas Reviews, visit the official launch page to find out more!

This is my very first time participating in Stacking the Shelves and I’m very excited! Can’t wait to make it a regular part of my Saturday!

Anyway, onto the books!!

This is the first time I’ve bought books in months because I only just got out of an almost year long reading slump, but now I’m diving back in and I’m feeling really motivated and excited. Let’s ignore that my shelves are FULL of books I haven’t read, but that doesn’t stop me from continuing to buy new ones.

  1. I just read Peter Pan not too long ago (and just posted the review on my blog) and it was very enjoyable! I hope you like it.
I should read The Wizard of OZ. I’ve seen the movie countless times, but never read the book.

  2. I have Firstlife and I still haven’t read it! I should soon. I really want Illuminae!!! I was thinking of getting the audio but I want the book in hardback so I can see the different writing formats in the book. I hope you enjoy all of these!

    1. I have no idea when I’ll get around to reading it, haha, my TBR pile is insane. It sounds really interesting! And yes, I definitely recommend getting a physical copy of Illuminae if only for purely shallow and aesthetic reasons haha. It’s such a beautiful book. I already had it on my Kindle, but I couldn’t resist picking up the physical too. Thank you!

  3. I just picked up The Passenger and First Life in audio – I hope you enjoy them. I keep telling myself that I am going to read more classics – but I never seem to fit them in my schedule. I have been wanting to read Picture of Dorian Grey for a while now. Happy reading!
